Community Safety Guidelines
Practical safety rules for buying, selling, photography, activities, messaging and offline meetups arranged through CAnime.
1. Marketplace safety
- Meet in public, well-lit places when possible. Avoid private homes for first meetings unless there is a clear reason and you feel safe.
- Inspect items before paying. Be cautious with deposits, wire transfers, gift cards, cryptocurrency, overpayment stories or requests to ship before payment clears.
- Keep conversations in CAnime messages until you are comfortable moving to external contact methods.
2. Photography and activity safety
- Agree on time, place, price, deliverables, boundaries, usage rights and cancellation expectations before meeting.
- For shoots, consider bringing a friend, using public or booked studio spaces, and confirming venue permissions.
- Do not pressure users into costumes, poses, locations, payments or contact methods they did not agree to.
3. Reporting
Report suspicious users, scams, harassment, unsafe activities, illegal listings or impersonation through the available report and feedback tools. In emergencies or immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
